This started as an eye practise, but somewhere along the way I started thinking about her as a character. As you can see, I decided to leave most of her face hidden, this because I believe it adds to her mystique. I'm pretty damn happy about this actually, it took all of my patience and concentration to work with this much detail, and I think I just might be getting better at it.
Took about 3 hours to draw, give or take.
It's lovely, Han. The only thing I'd be careful with is the slight off-colour to the left and right of the nose (outside curve of the nostrils). A touch green, I think. However, ignoring me nit-picking, the hair and eyes are just sublime. Top stuff!
ReplyDeleteI know you love doing hair but the colours there are midight-moon-tastic. :-)
That is excellent Hanny. I won't nitpick like Mike did.;-) Although she is alone in the dark and a certain TSA pervert may take advantage of that.:p Keep up the excellent work.
ReplyDeleteNice! She looks a bit like you !
